Announcing the release of " Gemini Love"
- This song is part of a debut EP titled "Sometimes Blues" by singer-songwriter Teresa Wright, former guitarist and background vocalist for country superstar "The Voice" Vern Gosdin. Co-written and recorded in Nashville, TN with producer and hit songwriter Amanda Colleen Williams (Garth Brooks, George Jones), "Gemini Love" is a humorous take on the double minded fun-loving nature of people born in the sign of the twins.
Born in the month of June, I've always been aware of the characteristics of a Gemini. A lot of people say that Gemini people love to change their mind all the time.
During my cowrite with Amanda, we laughed about how knowing a Gemini can bring something new every day. There's certainly no boredom in those relationships!
This song came out of our funny songwriting session, and came into its own in the studio with these Bonnie Raitt-country-blues influences on display.
I'm proud to say that I played all the leads in this song on acoustic guitar.
