Sheila E recently made history being the first female solo percussionist honored by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On July 12, 2023 the ceremony took place, and all the Escovedo family was there.
Also, Ringo Starr and Jimmy Jam were in attendance.
Sheila E is a multi-instrumentalist on stage, and a great entertainer.
She released her first album, “The Glamorous Life” when she wrote with Prince.
Always forging her own path, Sheila E combines jazz and funk with other world music influences. It's great to see her honored.
